KhidMat ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Hamath OPC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Customer and Provider mobile applications and web services collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.

1. Information We Collect

  1. Account & Profile Data: Name, phone number, email address, and service addresses.
  2. Device & Telemetry Data: Device hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and Expo Push Notification tokens.
  3. Location Information: Precise GPS coordinates when using active booking, live tracking, or provider on-duty routing.
  4. Media & Diagnostic Photos: Photos uploaded by customers or service professionals for appliance symptom diagnostics, quotation proof, and warranty claims.
  5. Financial & Transaction Data: Encrypted payment order IDs and technician UPI Virtual Payment Addresses (VPAs). We do not store raw credit card numbers or UPI PINs.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process service bookings, assign verified local technicians, and calculate accurate ETAs.
  • To facilitate digital quotation generation, approval, and invoice generation.
  • To disburse technician earnings via automated UPI settlements.
  • To provide continuous warranty coverage and free rework guarantees.
  • To send transactional notifications regarding booking updates and security alerts.

3. Data Protection & Privacy Boundaries

  • Phone Number Masking: Direct phone numbers are masked in the application interface to protect customer privacy.
  • Role-Scoped Access: Technicians can only access service-relevant appliance history and property notes for assigned jobs.
  • Zero Third-Party Ad Selling: We never sell your personal or behavioral data to third-party advertisers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting privacy@hamathopc.in or navigating to Profile > Delete Account within the app.
